Whether you need assistance or want to reach out a helping hand, here are some valuable resources for recovery and rebuilding. Local Government Resources

Sarasota County:
For the latest recovery information, call 311 or visit scgov.net/storm.

Manatee County:
For updates, call 311 or visit mymanatee.org/storm.

Federal Assistance

FEMA Individual Assistance:
If your home or property was impacted, apply for FEMA aid through DisasterAssistance.gov, the FEMA app, or by calling 800-621-3362. New applications are required, even if you’ve previously applied for other storms.

FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers:

  • Sarasota County: Sarasota Municipal Auditorium, 801 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. Open daily, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. (Need a ride? Call 311 before 5 p.m.)
  • Manatee County: The Agriculture Extension Office, 1303 17th St. West, Palmetto. Open daily, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

SBA Business Recovery Center:
For businesses impacted by the storm, the SBA Business Recovery Center at Rocky Bluff Branch Library, 6750 US-301, Ellenton is open Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
